We will do our absolute best to accommodate an earlier check in if needed. Guests have access to the entire house, there is a fenced in back yard and open front garden. The home has high speed internet. The home is located in a quiet residential community away from the busy streets and is recessed from the side street by a front garden and driveway. There is an enclosed garage for you. The garage hosts an EV charger. Guests have access to the exercise equipment and yoga mat alongside some beach accessories and beach towels in the garage. In addition, the driveway can host 2 cars. Parking is also available, easy and safe throughout the area on the street. Zen House is only about 15 minutes drive away from Down Town which includes Little Italy, Star of India, Shelter Island, The Zoo, Balboa Park, Liberty Station, Coronado, Sesame Water Park, Imperial beach amongst others! Zen House is located in an exclusive neighborhood away from the main road and surrounded by canyons. The neighborhood homes are situated around a beautiful walking loop of 4 miles that wraps around Rice Canyon. Fir trees line the walking paths offering shade and if you want to short cut your walk / run without having to turn back- Rice Canyon entrance and exit directs you back towards the home in a shorter loop of 2 miles. Great for a quiet stroll and dog walking and jogging. .Hiking and Biking/ Canyon trails – The home is in the middle of a few: Rice Canyon/ Mount Miguel/ Olympic Training Center/ Otay Lakes Park has beautiful views of the Reservoir/ Centennial Trail has beautiful mansions on one side and rolling hills and lake on the other. .Parks, Playgrounds, Tennis Courts, Basketball courts are within walking distance of the home. Multiple parks with different ambiance graze this neighborhood. .YMCA within walking distance. .Supermarkets are a 1-5 min away: Ralphs, Costco, Walmart, Smart and Final, Restaurants such as Chilies, Rubios, Chipotle among others are also just around the corner for a quick bite/takeaway. Nearby activities: SKY DIVING – Otay Lakes BEACH /NATURE PRESERVE HORSE RIDING KAYAKING/BOATING RENTAL at Otay Lakes Reservoir – Open WED,SAT,SUN OLYMPIC TRAINING CENTER: Believe you are allowed as a visitor. Worth seeing where the most prestigious athletes train. OTAY RANCH MALL – Nice outdoor mall. Never really crowded. BONITA MALL – Indoor Mall. Well known and pretty crowded. Has an AMC Theatre. SESAME WATER PARK in Chula Vista AMPHITHEATER in Chula Vista CHULA VISTA MARINA – Fun restaurants on the water. One of the restaurants there has live music during dinner hours and it seems very popular. There is a boat pier and a park ( hopefully not under construction.) CORONADO: Great views of Down Town by IL FORNAIO, the Coronado Ferry Center. Also to see the Coronado Hotel. If you rent bikes or go by car through the Silver Strand to Imperial Beach area. IMPERIAL BEACH: Upcoming neighborhood with some great restaurants and beach walks. One restaurant can’t remember the name along the beach side has an outdoor garden right on the street - great Tacos. LAS AMERICAS: Large Outlet mall on the US border to MEXICO MEXICO: Bring your passports. You can park your car on the US side and walk across the border to Tijuana I am always available for any questions on the what, how, and why's. along with recommending any eateries in the near vicinity:) Having a Car to visit San Diego is highly recommended. San Diego does have bus and trolley stations too. Closest Trolley Station is the "H" Street Chula Vista Trolley station which travels from the border of Mexico to Down town. It is about 10 min drive from the home. bus stations are just around the corner from the home. The Home is close enough to the hustle and bustle and far enough to unwind in tranquility of nature. Many walking paths around the home and the nearest grocery store is about a 20 min walk from the home. I am always available for your needs and have a quick response time. Check in : we will do our absolute best to get you checked in earlier if we can. Your check in will come with a 4 digit Key pad code for a smooth, efficient check in anytime after 4pm and earlier if we can. All check in details will be sent to you 1 week prior to your booked check in date. Pet friendly home: All Pets are permitted: All dog breeds are accepted. A limit of 2 pets per guest reservation. Please do contact me if you are looking to host more pets; approval is on an individual basis. Dog Amenities are available in house for your convenience: Dog bowls of various sizes - Dog beds and blankets. For all guests to enjoy the home and furniture - We provide a pet blanket for pets if they are to lay on the upholstery: Pets are not permitted to lay "directly" on furniture. Beautiful, scenic, walking paths and trails next to the house! Animals are more than welcome to play in the yards, however... Both Back and Front gardens should remain a NO poo/ NO pee zone so all of my guests can enjoy this special place at a high level. Animals are required to be house trained. Pets are required to leave with their family for the day or be crated during their family's absence. To keep the home sparkling, we ask a $60 for each pet per stay - pet cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee. Please do include your pet(s) in the booking. Airbnb will automatically include (1) $60 fee. If you have more than 1 pet booked, I will put in a request for additional $60/pet once the booking is confirmed. You will receive an email asking you to approve the request. Please do so in a timely manner to avoid post booking discussion. Smoking of any nature is prohibited inside the property. A piano has been tuned for your pleasure. The 3 bedrooms presented as such in the photos accommodate 6 guests: 2 guests per queen bed ( Qty 2) and 2 Twin Beds. There are 2 extra Twin fold-out beds that can be placed in the room of your choice to accommodate families of 8. Guest count indicated on booking confirmation is to reflect the actual amount of guests sleeping over to avoid revisiting the booking total during or after the stay. Please understand that any requests AFTER the initial booking to REDUCE the amount of days of your initial stay count may not be approved. Please do feel free to ADD to the initial stay count days before or after as needed anytime:) Infant amenities are available: Crib/Play and Go travel pen, High Chair, Stair safety gate, dinnerware and not to forget some cute reading material and games for the entire family!
